1. Collaborate with site representatives on all project and site operations to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
2. Verify technical drawings and specifications for adequacy and compliance with project requirements.
3. Oversee and monitor the progress of construction operations to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
4. Supervise, plan, and direct the daily activities of the construction workforce to ensure effective work performance.
5. Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, nominated sub-contractor (NSC), and designated subcontractors to facilitate project execution.
6. Ensure the establishment and maintenance of safe working arrangements on-site, strictly observing relevant safety regulations. Provide verbal warnings to staff in case of safety violations.
7. Conduct regular inspections to verify the quality and security of construction work, ensuring compliance with standards.
8. Monitor and report on the progress of building operations, identifying any issues that may arise.
9. Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions to issues through designated channels, and verify the implementation of these solutions.
10. Monitor the QP 13.4 Material Delivery Log-book for accuracy in delivery order tracking and ensure all delivery orders are submitted to the office weekly.
11. Control and minimize material wastage on-site, promoting efficient resource use.
12. Maintain and enhance positive relationships with clients and consultants, aiming for client satisfaction through continuous improvement.
13. Monitor and ensure that all subcontractors and NSC defects are addressed satisfactorily prior to handover to the client.
14. Identify, record, and report quality problems through inspections, communicating findings to the Project Manager.
15. Ensure proper implementation of ISO-related records and inspections for all on-site work activities.
16. Act as the appointed Internal Auditor, conducting audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
17. Report to Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager upon encountering any non-conformance issues.
18. Participate and undertake ad-hoc assignments as directed by your immediate superior.
