Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee and supervise all mechanical and electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on the construction site. Ensure the implementation of the M&E design drawings and specifications. Supervise the work of subcontractors, engineers, and technicians, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Provide leadership and coordinate between different teams to ensure timely completion of M&E tasks. Inspect and ensure that the mechanical and electrical installations meet the project's quality standards and specifications. Promote a safety-first culture and ensure the project complies with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks, and enforce safety policies on-site. Coordinate with external suppliers and vendors for M&E materials and equipment. Keep detailed reports on the progress of M&E work, including schedules, manpower, and material usage. Maintain accurate records of site activities, including site diaries, progress reports, and inspection records.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable. Relevant trade certifications in mechanical or electrical systems would be a plus. Proven 3-5 years experience as an M&E supervisor, site supervisor, or in a similar role in the construction or facilities management industry. Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of M&E systems in construction projects.
