Job Description

:

Liaise with the Contractor's supervisory personnel to ensure a full, current and accurate understanding of the delivery program, and construction method/activities in progress; Inspects the workmanship, quality and safety of works on construction sites and report back to immediate superior; Conduct regular site inspections and checking the building plans are being followed correctly. Work is carried out with the correct drawings, and approved specifications; Understand overall project planning to ensure you can monitor the priority of work; Ensure site comply to local authority regulations and safety regulations; To represent as consultant's representative, to attend relevant authority & client site visits, and meetings; Monitor closely and take prompt action on drawings/documents discrepancies to resolve all arising technical issues; Ensure that materials, construction standards and site practices are satisfactory; Liaise with project team/consultants and/ or other senior Clerk-of-Works on all site matters; Site coordination with architecture, structure, civil and M&E contractors, sub-contractors and other related contractors appointed from time to time; Monitor progress report of all building work on a monthly basis or whenever requested by your immediate superior; Assist the project team/consultants regarding the investigation of defects and the organization and direction of remedial works; Inform the consultant and employer of any event that will jeopardize the project's safety, quality, time and cost; Where approval samples are available, compare work carried out against samples and ensure that it's consistent with the original Monitor the progress of works and inform your immediate superior and the contractor/sub-contractor of any delay or quality issue. Check defects before practical completion and at the end of the defect's liability period; Ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirement:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma Diploma in Civil Engineering, Property Development, Structural or equivalent. At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Required Skill(s): C&S infra and building, Microsoft Excel Ability to interpret drawings and coordinate construction drawings between consultants and contractors. Familiar with material, testing and inspecting procedure. Able to work independently under minimum supervision. Good communication skills. Safety practice in construction projects. Working hour: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5.00pm), Saturday (8:00am-12:00pm)
