Responsibilities for Site Supervisor

• Oversee day to day operations of the site
• Supervising, coordinating, monitoring, inspection & review of work progress on site
• Work alongside with Project Manager
• Preparing & submitting work progress reports
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of site, equipment & materials
• Evaluating the performance of vendors/suppliers/subcons and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.
• Supervise and evaluate vendors/suppliers/subcons & keep accurate records of workers attendance and timesheets & maintaining an accurate record of site attendance
• Set project goals and oversee projects to completion; schedule and track assignments
• Briefing, supervising and instructing the construction team as well as vendors/suppliers/subcontractors.
• Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
• Analysing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
• Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
• Control and monitor site cleanliness & work place comply to applicable local authority regulations.
• Any ad-hoc matter designated by Site Agent / Project Manager / Director

• Diploma/Certificate in a Mechanical Engineer or related fields
• Must be CSWIP 3.1 certified
• Minimum 3 years of related experience
• Proven experience working as a Site Supervisor.
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Must have understanding of construction/engineering terms, scheduling and planning concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, MS Excel & MS Project.
• Good analytical, organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
• Reading comprehension of technical drawings
• Good written and spoken communication skills (English/Bahasa Malaysia). Knowledge of mandarin is an added advantage.
• Strong analytic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be willing for travelling as instructed by management.
