Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

monthly management reports

and full sets of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections monitoring. Create

annual budgets

and perform monthly variance analysis; investigate deviations and recommend practical improvements. Prepare detailed financial proposals as required by management or directors. Handle daily accounting duties ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory/tax requirements. Analyse financial data and operations to assist management in achieving the company's financial objectives. Review and approve

balance sheet accounts

, including monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations. Establish, audit, and monitor

internal financial controls

, covering purchasing, cash handling, disbursements, inventories, company assets, payroll, and employee records. Coordinate and complete

internal and external audits

, liaising with accounting firms and delivering requested information promptly. Prepare annual financial plans, projections, and budgets.

What You Need to Succeed:

Minimum

Degree in Accounting

or professional certificate (LCCI or equivalent). Professional certifications (CPA, CIMA, ACCA, or relevant) are a plus. At least

5 years' experience

in accounting/finance, preferably in construction or infrastructure. Leadership experience with the ability to guide a team of accounting staff. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Audit experience is advantageous. Proficiency in Mandarin is required (to liaise with internal stakeholders)

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
