Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks, covering business operations, risk management, AML/KYC, and regulatory compliance. Design and execute compliance strategies aligned with both global and local regulations -- ensuring these are embedded into product development and core business functions. Oversee risk and compliance programmes, including risk assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Stay informed on regulatory developments and advise leadership on the implications. Serve as the key point of contact for regulatory bodies and manage ongoing relationships with regulators. Manage compliance relationships with banks, payment partners, and financial institutions. Conduct compliance assessments on vendors and third-party partners; provide actionable recommendations. Monitor daily operations to flag and resolve compliance concerns promptly. Develop and deliver engaging compliance training across all teams. Support a culture of compliance by partnering cross-functionally and providing guidance on complex issues. Prepare reports on due diligence, investigations, and compliance KPIs for internal and external stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum

5 years' experience

in a senior compliance role in fintech, banking, or financial services. Strong expertise in

AML/KYC

, anti-bribery/corruption, and regulatory compliance frameworks. Hands-on experience in

payments, card issuing, acquiring

, or

remittance services

. Experience working directly with

regulators

, such as central banks or financial authorities. Strong communication skills -- able to work with both internal teams and external regulators. Proficient in

English and Mandarin

(written & spoken). Familiarity with the

Payment Services Act

or equivalent legislation is a strong advantage. Knowledge of

VASP / virtual asset compliance

frameworks is a plus.
