Responsibilities:
Work closely with manufacturing users to capture and analyze information about adopting I4.0 for Smart Manufacturing. Harness the novel capabilities of advanced robotics solutions to transform them into realities working with external partners as well as manufacturing colleagues.
Conceptual work in the digitalization of processes across the entire value chain in manufacturing. Implementation with regard to efficiency increase and production optimization through targeted use of digitalization and Industry 4.0 technologies
Development of technical concepts as well as their software and system architecture
Conception and implementation of proof-of-concepts or project piloting
Ability to identify the unique application of technology that creates impact for the business problems.
Define scalable technologies that employ low code framework which can be easily deployed/maintained/configured
Lead definition and implementation of IoT and cloud solutions to establish end-to-end connectivity across supply chain to achieve business objectives
Drive key decision on data architecture and analytics to enable connected workforce
Define business solutions capitalizing on AI/ML and propose a project for implementation.
Establish specific metrics by the department for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Assure objectives are communicated to the lowest level, and results are posted for clear communication.
Monitor and analyze production performance in safety, quality, cost objectives, significant expenditures, and expense budgets. Act as necessary to ensure each goal is met.
Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a technical field, Master\'s/Bachelor\'s degree in an IT-related engineering discipline (industrial engineering/information technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent).
At least 10 years of manufacturing experience required, this includes at least 5 years of Plant Management/Supervisory experience managing a manufacturing plant.
IT infrastructure and Network infrastructure knowledge would be beneficial.
Experience in connectivity/communication protocols (e.g: API, MQTT, OPC UA) and cloud architecture (e.g AWS) will be added advantage.
Knowledge and experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
Production
SAP ECC / MES
Business analytics
Project management
Databases and SQL
Prior experience in Smart Manufacturing is essential
Leadership experience would be a plus, results-oriented professional, and solid communication skills are essential characteristics.
Full professional proficiency in English.
Must be comfortable and competent managing in a data-oriented culture.
Ability to establish instant trust and credibility with the workforce, customers and suppliers.
