Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for setup, installation, commissioning, servicing, maintaining, and providing application support on equipment at customers' sites.

Provide technical support & after-sales service to customers.

Provide on-site programming and convert raw customer data into SMT-compatible data for SMT machines.

Actively involved in new equipment hardware setup for customer's new machine purchases.

Drive analysis of equipment, hardware, and preventive maintenance and repair data.

Carry out periodic maintenance and update programming computer tools.

Set up production lines, perform preventive maintenance, programming, and troubleshooting of SMT equipment.

Perform general technical work in production, maintenance of machinery, tools, equipment, process, and mechanical assembly.

Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the event of breakdowns.

Conduct buy-off activities for SMT processes for every new model, new setup, and engineering changes.

Knowledge in AOI and SPI will be an advantage.

Handle CAD coordinate conversion from customer data to machine-compatible CAD coordinates.

Follow up closely on test evaluations and control runs.

Identify, troubleshoot, and implement continuous improvement solutions.

Monitor production line efficiency and performance.

Consolidate and analyze daily and weekly reports.

Provide on-site training to customers and be available for 24/7 on-call support when required.

Candidate Profile & Requirements:

Qualification: Minimum Diploma in Electrical/Electro-Mechanical or equivalent.

Experience:

Mid-level with at least 2 years' service experience in Electronics Industries.

Related knowledge & experience in SMT Electronic Industries, including SMT Equipment, Reflow, Wave Soldering, and Selective Soldering.

SMT process and application knowledge will be an added advantage.
