Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our highly capable and motivated team who are responsible for the development of Allianz Asia Pacific (AZAP) Regional Model that covers all the reporting requirements for Allianz Group and Local Statutory and Solvency for Allianz Operation Entities (OE) that includes Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia, Allianz China Life, PT Ansuransi Allianz Indonesia, Allianz Taiwan Life and Allianz Ayudhya Assurance (Thailand). Candidate will assist the Head of Department in managing and developing the team in the operation and maintenance of the Regional Models.

Responsibilities:

• Develop knowledge of actuarial modeling, both asset and liability models.
• To assist Head of Department in managing the day-to-day maintenance, modification, enhancement of the Regional Model, using RAFM
• To assist Head of Department along with the Reporting Process manager in ensuring effective and successful monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting process, at least at the initial stage of the AZAP reporting processes.
• To ensure the Regional Model is properly designed, developed, tested, validated, documented, implemented and used appropriately.
• To ensure an effective system of modelling governance.
• To provide support and develop strong relationship with actuarial teams across the participants OEs. Proactively respond to queries and model insight.
• Production and review of Regional Model\xe2\x80\x99s outputs, including but not limited to MCEV, NBV, IFRS17 and local statutory and solvency requirements.
• Coaching of team members and users

Requirements:

• Degree or PostGraduate Diploma in Actuarial studies
• Have strong knowledge and understanding of life insurance product cash flows, actuarial principles, formulae and methodology.
• Progressing in actuarial exams
• Have a strong track record of project delivery in tight timescales
• Have strong actuarial modeling, valuation, reporting or consultancy experience (3-4 years).
• Candidates with Prophet, MoSes, RAFM or any other actuarial system experience is desirable but not necessary.
• Good verbal, written and communication skills
