Design the AML/CFT group-wide policy to strengthen the risk management of AML/CFT of the group and seek to achieve effective compliance as well as operational efficiencies.
Develop Policy befitting international standards for SBGs/SFGs to operate their business across borders effectively in compliant with regulatory and sanction requirements
Assist on Training and Awareness for Group RHB Bank.
Key Responsibilities: * Adopt standards, best practices, requirements, guidance and reports developed by international bodies or regulators (i.e. FATF, BNM, Labuan FSA, FSA, SC) to define the group's policy and procedures
Revise and implement the AML/CFT Policy and Guidelines for RHB Banking Group to incorporate at least the following:
CDD measures with risk based approach is supported by FATF and BNM
assist in deciding EDD prerequisites for risk management of higher risk customers
establishment of robust monitoring mechanism to prevent and detect inconsistent profile of customers and sanctioned persons/ entities
Assess the ML/TF risks associated with the procedures, process and new product/services to recommend controls and standard policy
Assist in the maintenance of AML/CFT Policy & Procedures to cover requirements for SBGs/SFGs'
Drive the implementation and maintain ongoing AML/CFT training programs across the RHB Banking Group
Ensure consistent training content and materials developed for RHB Banking Group training and awareness
Conduct research on trends, developments and techniques related to the management of AML/CFT compliance risk
Present specialized face-to-face AML/CFT training and support the AML/CFT knowledge through various outreach programs across the group
Liaise and provide pro-active advice/ guidance to relevant stakeholders (where necessary)
Assist Head, Group AML Practice and Head, Group AML Advisory & Policy on any assigned duties from time to time for Bank and Regional if required.
11) To provide advice on AML/CFT related internal controls for the following:
a. Policies & Procedures.
b. Processes.
c. Products.
12) Training and awareness required to be conducted for Group RHB Bank on compliance requirement as per regulatory including for Regional if required
Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor Degree - .
3-5 years in Anti MoneyLaundering , Compliance
Good analytical and implementation skills, demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and drive change across a complex organization and multiple stakeholders;
Take independent action or proactively create opportunities to resolve or prevent problems in keeping with role;
Possesses good leadership, good communication and strategic planning skills to facilitate team work;
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to devise sound strategic and operational plans for Compliance;
Ability to identify patterns or connections between situations that are not obviously related, and to identify key or underlying issues in complex situations;
Good understanding of industry compliance leading trends and issues.
Strong presentation and communication skills to enhance compliance culture at respective business.
