UOB Asset Management is a leading Asian asset manager with award-winning investment expertise in fixed income and equities. Job Responsibilities

The Universal Banker is an entry level position responsible for the assistance in the execution of sales, products or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The overall objective of this role is to foster relations with customers to build customer loyalty, to provide accurate services, perform prudent financial transactions and cash handling activities.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high quality customer service, and respond to and resolve account service issues
• Perform financial transaction over the counter and assist customer in various banking transaction as needed
• Handle customer enquiries and refer leads / queries to appropriate channels
• Attend and resolve \xe2\x80\x9cquick kill\xe2\x80\x9d or basic to moderately complex problems based on practice and precedence
• Transform service transactions to sales opportunities, complete various financial transactions and refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate
• Educate customers on utilizing available access digital channels
• Execute account opening and refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate
• Participate in sales/ service activities within the branch including seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding UOB, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Job Requirements

• 0-2 years of relevant experience is preferred
• Previous financial cash and customer service experience are preferred
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
