The Software Assistant Manager / Team Lead (C++) will oversee software development projects, ensuring high-quality solutions and team efficiency. This role in the industrial/manufacturing industry requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills.

• Coordinate and assign tasks to team members, track progress, and proactively resolve obstacles to ensure timely support and project delivery.
• Conduct feasibility studies, engaging relevant experts when specialized knowledge is required.
• Evaluate and estimate workload requirements for projects and tasks.
• Provide supervision and guidance to team members on technical issues and enhancements.
• Review completed work or delegate to a technical advisor for source code and patch validation.
• Ensure thorough risk assessments, software testing, and validation are completed before deployment.
• Implement preventive measures based on previous quality issues.
• Manage escalations from the manufacturing floor and field operations.
• Identify skill gaps and arrange targeted training to enhance team capabilities.
• Lead communication on critical topics such as escalations, complex specifications, and design reviews, driving team actions to meet project requirements.

A successful Software Assistant Manager / Team Lead (C++) should have:

• Good background in C, C++, Python, VB.NET or C# programming languages
• Proven experience in managing and leading software development teams.
• Minimum 6 years experienced in semiconductor/machine automation industry.
• Minimum 3 years experienced in management role.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to solve complex technical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of industrial/manufacturing software applications is an advantage.
• A proactive approach to staying current with technological advancements.
