Position Title: Test Automation Engineer

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (On-site)

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automation test scripts for software applications and systems
• Ensure automation tests cover all scenarios (positive, negative, exception, error, etc.)
• Maintain version control of automation tests using tools like GitHub
• Collaborate with Tribe master on project delivery as needed
• Generate automated reports and communicate results to stakeholders periodically
• Plan, monitor, control, and maintain automation testing activities
• Develop test strategy and plans for projects, including defining scope and applying appropriate metrics
• Identify and resolve project risks related to automation testing
• Ensure test data is prepared and available before testing begins
• Coordinate with teams to ensure SIT environment is ready for testing
• Provide estimates for test automation efforts
• Review project documentation to assure quality through automation testing
• Use Risk Based Testing techniques
• Work with development team to resolve defects

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

• A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other relevant studies is required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing with Selenium
• Experience with API and Automated Testing is a must
• Must have experience with Web & Mobile app testing At least 1 year of experience with Katalon is required
• Experience in other automation tools such as Appium will be an added advantage
• Experience with Banking domain knowledge will be an added advantage
• Solid experience in designing, developing, and enhancing automation scripts for new and existing applications is required.
• Experience in using Jira to report defects is necessary
• Experience in tools such as Cucumber and Jenkins will be an added advantage
• Strong working knowledge of SDLC and STLC practices and procedures is required.
