Position: Software Dev Engineer Test (Automation Testing)

Department: Global Technology and Operation - Asia Tech Solutions Delivery

The Role:

-Design and scale the test automation for multiple platform teams (Android, iOS, web, API)
-Design and implement automation framework that work across multiple platforms.
-Lead automation efforts and explore new test automation tools and methods.
-Defining automation plan to support international app releases.
-Establish processes and tool set to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports.
-Working directly with Developers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, Software Dev Managers and Technical Program Managers, to ensure quality of our platforms and international launches.
-Working with many cross teams to support automation infrastructure.

Requirements:

-Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field
-3+ years of development experience as a Software Engineer in Test
-Experience in object-oriented designing and object-oriented languages such as Java, Python.
-Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development \xe2\x80\x93 using Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Selenium Grid, Browser Stack, Karate DSL, Postman.
-Experience in writing testing frameworks and automation tools is preferable.
-Experienced in mobile (iOS and Android) and backend API testing automation.
-Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team
-Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an SDET role
-Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Strong in Data Structures and Algorithm
-Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, services, and physical devices
-Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
-Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
-Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
-Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness.
