Job Description

Develop, test and maintain scalable web applications using .NET Core, .NET MVC, Web API,and modern frontend frameworks. Design and optimize SQL Server databases, including schema design, stored procedures, performance tuning, and data migrations. Integrate frontend components with backend services using RESTful APIs. Translate business requirements, specifically in the hire purchase domain into technical specifications and deliver working solutions. Collaborate with business analysts and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and provide clear updates. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and ensure adherence to security and quality standards. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design diagrams, and user guides. Support deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting in staging and production environments. Recommend tools, frameworks, and best practices to improve development efficiency and application quality. Identify technical risks, dependencies, and propose mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

Hands-on experience with .NET Core, Web API, .NET MVC, and microservice architecture. Strong proficiency in SQL Server 2014+, including database design, queries, stored procedures, indexing, and tuning. Frontend development skills with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, software design patterns, and web programming fundamentals. Experience with version control tools such as Git and familiarity with branching strategies. Basic knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure), deployment concepts, and cloud-native patterns. Familiarity with CI/CD processes, build pipelines, and DevOps fundamentals (added advantage). Understanding of web application security best practices (authentication, authorization, input validation). Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of the financial sector, especially hire purchase workflows and terminology. Good problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Adaptability and strong time management skills in fast-paced environments
