Roles & Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 3 years hands on Life/Asia (COBOL/CL/SMART 400/MQ messaging) coding and implementation experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible in system implementation (design, coding, unit testing, troubleshooting, etc) activities for Life/Asia application Including production support, projects and system enhancements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Required to be part of the batch support time, taking turns for dayend/monthend/adhoc production job support. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for planning, prioritizing, implementation, managing delivery of initiatives/projects assigned under his/her portfolio with all stakeholders \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure delivery complies to standard operating processes defined (ie. system development life cycle, change management, security tollgates, etc.) \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure business and functional requirements are translated to system solutions \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for governance and execution around software development, including version control, code review and structure, architecture, security, quality and performance. -Having worked on Data migration projects will be beneficial -Hands on Java will be beneficial -Hands on Jasper & Cisen reporting tools will be beneficial
