What do we need:

We are looking for a Software Developer to be part of a team responsible for Amway\xe2\x80\x99s authentication & authorization solution for customer & ABO-facing applications.

What\xe2\x80\x99s special about this team:

You would be joining a team of Technology professionals that are dedicated to building, enhancing, and supporting auth solutions for Amway\xe2\x80\x99s customers & distributors. Amway identity solutions are deployed for over 60 countries for 100s of applications across the enterprise.

Over the next year, new future state solutions will be designed, built & deployed globally to improve upon cost, performance, and meet new needs of the organization, such as social login, FIDO-based MFA integrations such as biometrics or device-based factors. The solution is deployed in on AWS and designed to meet the tenets of availability, reliability, scalability, security, event-driven architecture, and cloud best practices.

You will be reporting to the Manager of Amway ID, under Engineering & Architecture.

How you would contribute to the role:

In this role you would contribute to solution development, feature enhancements, and engage with product delivery teams. The team is also involved in improving cloud security, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and advancing the cloud services architecture. You will work closely a team of Software Developers partnering with key internal & external-facing solution teams like eCommerce, Mobile and Security.

Day to day, you would be:

-Developing high value technical solutions to meet business and program goals.
-Working as part of an Agile team to deliver value each Sprint.
-Designing, building, and deploying global solution capabilities
-Collaborate with your team and customers to define, develop, test, and deliver new features and enhancements.
-Deliver solutions based on scalability, flexibility, security, and cost optimization.
-Working with the latest industry trends in authentication & authorization.

Responsibilities:

-Use Full-stack DevOps to deliver features and enhancements that are flexible, scalable, and secure.
-Collaborate closely with global product teams and Market teams to develop new or customized features.
-Contribute in Sprints to deliver solution development, fulfill Markets requests, implement cloud enhancements, and implement bug fixes.
-Contribute to technical designs aligned with new features or enhancements.
-Help to drive continuous improvement to advance security, ensure outstanding end user experience, and improve cost optimization.
-Develop capabilities by applying industry standards, reusable patterns, and best practices to ensure standardization of production solution designs.
-Develop standards, patterns and practices for reuse and acceleration.
-Automate delivery, testing and processes to improve quality and efficiency.
-Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
-Provide Level 3 Production support and services.

Required Work Experience:

-Bachelor\'s Degree in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science) required.
-6 years of experience in software development
-2 years of development experience in NodeJS, TypeScript and Angular
-2 years of experience delivering cloud-based solutions on AWS

Success in this role would consist of being an active contributor in each Sprint to deliver on business priorities. You will be judged on your abilities and effectiveness in working with the team to deliver successful releases.

Required skills:

-You have experience working with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
-You have experience with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CodeBuild/CodePipeline, CloudFront, SNS, DynamoDB
-You have experience as a full stack software developer.
-You have experience with NodeJS, TypeScript and Angular
-You have experience with test automation design and principles.
-You have experience developing rest API\xe2\x80\x99s and event driven architectures.
-You have experience using tools like Git-Hub, Splunk, Jira, Confluence, Slack
-You have experience in an agile software environment.
-You have experience successfully facilitating collaboration within and across multiple teams, functions, departments, and levels.
-You have strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple/competing tasks and assignments.
-You have a solid understanding and use security best practices in developing code and creating solution designs.
