We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Payment Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development, enhancement, and maintenance of critical payment systems including FPX and RPP and integration to other payment systems. You will work closely with business squads and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality application solutions that meet business needs and regulatory requirements. The position holder will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining web and/or batch programs.
To work beyond/outside office hours when necessary.
Main Duties
Manage manufacturing and delivery of IT application, change requests, internally and with SBU Engagement Manager/SMEsto ensure the consistency and proper functioning of the application system and to meet Business needs.
Develop technical solution within the boundaries of the existing ecosystem
Engage with Squad Lead to develop and manage request deliverables, plan and timeline
Evaluating business process, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas of improvement, developing and implementing solutions.
Performing requirement analysis & SIT testing
Complete understanding of systems usage as it relates to day to day business operations and advocating improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of the solution.
Provide production support and assist in identifying root causes of application lapses.
Provide post-implementation support to the business users related to their areas of supports.
Ensure compliance to all processes, audit and risk matters in the execution of user story
Continuously assess and promptly respond to regulatory and compliance demands, maintaining strict adherence to relevant guidelines at all time
Perform detailed investigation on production issues reported by user
Develop preventive solutions
Perform efficient and effective first and-or second level support for applications.
Job Requirement
More than 5 years of relevant working experience in IT application / system support in a financial institution.
Demonstrated experience in Operating System (Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)), Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Linux Shell Scripting, Agile Methodology
Strong understanding of Cloud technology (AWS)
Exposure to technology architecture background (REST-API Integration, JAVA, Container)
Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information System Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Strong process improvement experience for software development (CI/CD)
Experience in handling Payment ecosystem will be an advantage
Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Possess strong sense of responsibility and initiative, excellent communication, interpersonal skill and pleasant personality

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
