Job Summary

We are a

small and growing technology company

practicing Agile delivery.

We are looking for a

hands-on Software Engineer

to work on existing applications, support feature delivery, and collaborate closely with support and business teams -- from user stories to go-live.

This role suits someone who prefers

clear, practical responsibilities

in a dynamic environment, without unrealistic expectations or hidden scope.

What You Will Do

Develop and enhance applications using

C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and MS SQL Server

Implement features based on agreed

user stories and requirements

Participate in

user story refinement and presentation

with stakeholders Support and coordinate

System Integration Testing (SIT)

and

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Assist in

deployment preparation and go-live activities

Provide

Level 2 technical support

on an escalation basis (code-level analysis and fixes) Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective solutions Maintain clear and practical technical documentation

Required Skills & Experience

1-3 years of experience as a Software Engineer Hands-on experience with:

C#

ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC

MS SQL Server

Experience working with existing codebases Basic understanding of Agile practices (user stories, sprint delivery) Comfortable explaining technical matters to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have

Experience with deployment or release processes Experience coordinating or supporting SIT / UAT Experience providing Level 2 application support Familiarity with IIS or Windows-based environments
What This Role Is Not

Not a system architect or technical lead role Not a product owner role Not a 24/7 on-call position

Contract & Conversion

This role starts as a

6-month contract

Conversion to permanent is based on

performance and business needs

Expectations and feedback will be communicated clearly during the contract period

Pay: RM2,260.47 - RM4,000.00 per month
