We are looking for a passionate engineer looking to create an impact on our merchant advertisers by helping them understand and optimize their store performance in the Grab ecosystem.The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You\'ll contribute to the development of new features and improvements for our mobile applications, ensuring they are robust, perform well, and provide a great user experience.
• You\'ll write reusable, scalable, and testable code, ensuring that products are delivered on time and with high quality.
• You\'ll participate in maintaining existing mobile applications, which includes bug fixing and performance enhancements.
• You\'ll engage in technical discussions with other engineering teams to foster collaboration and innovation.
• You\'ll take part in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team, helping everyone grow together.
• You\'ll write unit and integration tests, collaborating with QAs to ensure our app releases consistently earn five-star ratings.
• You\'ll work closely with product and design teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• As part of our team, you\'ll participate in an on-call rotation for critical support issues, showcasing your problem-solving skills and commitment to maintaining high application uptime.
• You\'ll engage in agile development and project management processes, including planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and task estimations, prioritizing and coordinating with team members to ensure timely project delivery.
• You\'ll stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in mobile development, suggesting improvements to our processes and tools.

QualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need

• Demonstrated experience in mobile application development, with a portfolio of projects in Flutter or Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Understanding of programming paradigms such as OOP, TDD, reactive programming and dependency injection.
• Knowledge of mobile app UI/UX principles, RESTful APIs.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Nice to have: experience in Android/iOS native mobile development, Web (React) development.
