Founded in September 2020, Asia Digital Engineering (ADE) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AirAsia Group based in KLIA2, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. ADE leverages the AirAsia Group Engineering Department\xe2\x80\x99s best practices and unsurpassed combined experience in the region. ADE offers a range of aircraft services focused on the Airbus A320, A321 & A330 for line maintenance services, component and warehouse services, and engineering support services.

Software Engineers at ADE work within our digital product development team to build innovative, secure and scalable digital solutions that are integrated with our large scale internal and external systems. We believe in the continuous pursuit of making things better and building a team passionate about learning and sharing knowledge.

What you will do:

Understand business requirements holistically to build mobile and web applications.

Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle

Write clean, efficient code.

Discover and debug issues swiftly, refactor code as well as automate repetitive tasks

Practice security, performance and scalability as principles in the day-to-day decisions and contributions

Work closely with the Product Quality team to bring automated testing capabilities

Share and document knowledge as part of your workflow

Experiment and continuously explore new and emerging technologies and bring that perspective on how it can help the team

Research the current market for similar products and compare results

Your experience and skills:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant fields

2 - 6 years of relevant work experience in front-end and/or back-end development with working knowledge in Javascript, CSS, HTML

Must be comfortable working with some popular frameworks such as ReactJs and NodeJs

Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Experience in developing mobile first applications (Responsive UI/UX)

Experience working with RESTful API or WebSockets.

Experience working with Application Logging, Monitoring, Performance Management such as (Firebase App Analytics, Bugsnag)

Experience with CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Github, Jenkins)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication skills.
