What will I be doing?

We are offering a 20 / 24 week internship for software engineers in 2023. The program is designed to give students actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science an opportunity to write software, encourage pair programming and interact with others in a real-world business environment. You will be part of our Product Development team, where you will work with a dedicated mentor and other fellow interns on a software project that adds value to our mission here at Guidewire while learning what it means to be a professional software engineer.

Intern Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Current undergraduate student of a BSc in Computer Science from a higher education institution graduating in 2023 with skillsets below:

\xc2\xb7 Programming in Java, C# or other modern OO programming languages

\xc2\xb7 Algorithms and object-oriented design

\xc2\xb7 Understanding of Agile, Test-driven development

\xc2\xb7 Back-end technologies - RESTful API concepts, Microservices

\xc2\xb7 Web-based applications and technologies

\xc2\xb7 Nice to have experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript application frameworks such as React (preferred), Angular, or Vue

We practice hybrid working. Intern will be expected to come to office 2 days per week.
