Job Description

The mobile team empowers ZALORA e-commerce business by crafting the best iOS app experience for our users. As a member of the mobile team, you will work on building features to provide a fun and seamless shopping experience for the millions of people who shop at ZALORA. You will work closely with cross-functional squads and crafting sophisticated apps with the iOS SDK.
Our app is currently written in a mix of Swift and Objective-C, with all new code written in Swift. We\'re in the process of moving towards an architecture which will enable us to increase the testability of our code and help us maintain the excellent stability that our app enjoys.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Product and UX Research team to develop features for the iOS platform
• Build high performance, well-structured native app with modern iOS best-practices in mind
• Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of the app

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Strong understanding of CS fundamentals and knowledge
• Hands on knowledge of Swift, Cocoa and Xcode
• Knowledge of Reactive Programming (RxSwift or Combine)
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills
• Self learner and able to independently contribute to the iOS codebase
• Proficient with Unit testing/TDD and XCTest or other unit testing tools
• Experience with offline storage, concurrency, threading and performance tuning
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures(MVVM, VIPER etc), trends, and emerging technologies
• Knowledge of CI/CD, automation tools and functional programming
• Knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Understanding of the software design patterns, and ability to apply them to architect features and components
