Software Engineer Java
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and database-driven applications.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance issues.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Work with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to deliver projects within timelines.
Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability.
Contribute to documentation (technical design, user guides, API docs).
Technical Skills Required:
Strong programming skills in
Java (8/11/17)
. Experience withSpring / Spring Boot
frameworks. Hands-on knowledge ofREST APIs, Microservices architecture
. Proficiency withRDBMS (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)
. Familiarity withversion control tools (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
. Exposure tocloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
is an advantage. Knowledge ofCI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes
is preferred. Understanding ofJUnit/TestNG, Mockito
for unit testing.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g.,
Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE
, AWS, or Spring Framework) are a plus.Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and performance.

Pay: RM3,228.78 - RM6,000.00 per month
