Responsibilities
Develop and maintain HMI (Human-Machine Interface) applications for in-house production line machinery, jigs, and testers.
Design and implement machine vision solutions using Python, OpenCV, and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) for automated inspection and quality control.
Interface with industrial automation systems and PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi) for equipment control, data acquisition, and process feedback.
Create vision-based detection, classification, and measurement algorithms to improve automation reliability and reduce manual inspection.
Design, develop, and deploy real-time GUI applications for operators using Python frameworks (PyQt, Tkinter, etc.).
Perform model training, tuning, and deployment for AI-based vision applications.
Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to integrate software with hardware control systems.
Prepare technical documentation, test procedures, and maintenance guides for software systems.
Troubleshoot production line automation issues related to software, image capture, or control logic.
Ensure all software development complies with ISO9001, IATF 16949, and automotive industry standards, integrating APQP requirements
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in software development, preferably in industrial automation, machine vision, or manufacturing-related applications.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in Python programming with hands-on experience in OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
Experience in developing HMI applications and GUI tools (PyQt, Tkinter, or equivalent).
Knowledge of industrial automation systems and PLCs (Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi).
Strong background in machine vision algorithms (detection, classification, measurement).
Familiarity with model training, tuning, and deployment for AI/ML vision systems.
Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and integrate software with hardware systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of ISO9001, IATF 16949, and APQP standards is an advantage
