As a Software Engineer (Laravel), you\xe2\x80\x99ll deploy innovative solutions
for a variety of projects. You\xe2\x80\x99ll design and build highly dynamic,
data-driven internet-based platforms and keep current on the latest
developments and trends in internet-based technologies.Day- to-day, your role includes:

practical, maintainable project solutions
\xef\x82\xb7 Being hands-on, independently coding and developing
software & platform solutions
\xef\x82\xb7 Maintaining a consistent focus on quality for projects
\xef\x82\xb7 Performing code reviews, developing and adhering to coding
standards
\xef\x82\xb7 Staying on top of evolving web standards
\xef\x82\xb7 Encouraging team awareness and adoption of relevant
emerging technologies

expertiseQualificationsA four-year degree and 2 to 4 years of web development
experience, preferably at a creative agency
\xef\x82\xb7 Deep familiarity with the digital environment
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience building and deploying PHP based web solutions
\xef\x82\xb7 Full software development life-cycle experience on web facing
applications
\xef\x82\xb7 Solid grasp of web solutions utilizing a Content Management
System (CMS)
\xef\x82\xb7 Expertise in HTML, CSS
\xef\x82\xb7 Advanced Javascript development skills, including knowledge
of jQuery, Ajax and DOM
\xef\x82\xb7 Familiarity with PHP frameworks, such as Laravel, CodeIgniter
\xef\x82\xb7 Firm understanding of software engineering methodologies
such as object-oriented design and design patterns, including
MVC
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience with source versioning, preferably Git
\xef\x82\xb7 Administration skills on web server and application server
products, preferably Apache, Tomcat, etc.
\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge and experience with SQL, relational data models
and database systems, especially in support of web sites and
related architectures
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience with deploying cloud-based web solutions, e.g.
Amazon, Azure, etc
\xef\x82\xb7 Solid experience in testing methodologies, test-driven design
and the creation of effective and reliable test cases
\xef\x82\xb7 Familiarity with web security methodologies such as managing
SSL certificates
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in designing and coding for web accessibility
\xef\x82\xb7 Expertise in the authoring of technical requirements and the
definition process
