Position: Software Engineer
Salary Range: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 (Depending on Experience)
Company Description:
SUKA Travel & Tours is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for building innovative digital solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that enhance our travel services and improve customer experiences.
Requirements:

• Achieve at least Diploma.
• 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience in web development.
• Strong foundation in programming, object-oriented design, and databases.
• Familiar with at least one MVC framework (e.g., Laravel, Django, Spring, .NET MVC, etc.).
• Eager to learn Ruby on Rails in a production environment.
• Some experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills in Mandarin and English.
• Team player with a continuous learning mindset.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with React or other JS frameworks (Vue, Angular).
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Exposure to Agile development and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve features across our full stack applications
• Work collaboratively with team members on coding, reviews, and architecture decisions
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues
• Learn and contribute to systems built using Ruby on Rails and React
