Job Description

This position is critical in supporting new features, change requests, support, and maintenance for ZALORA Internal tools.

Responsibilities

• Build high performance, quality, well-structured and responsiveness of the app with modern best-practices in mind
• Manage communication and work closely with the stakeholders
• Evaluate and assess new software development requirements
• Develop features for the application
• Identify and solve any software related problems
• Plan and measure project timeline and ensure that delivered on-time
• Provide software development technical support to the team
• Generate technical documentation and perform system deployment

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Experience with web development using PHP, Javascript and Vue.js
• Experience with SQL databases like MySQL
• Knowledge in Laravel framework
• Knowledge in consuming 3rd Party APIs and integration with external libraries and services
• Knowledge in Git, Linux, Shell Script and agile methodologies
• Knowledge in Google Forms, Sheets, Apps Script and Sites
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills
• Solid understanding of the full web development life cycle and design patterns
• Candidates must be hardworking, initiative and self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Bonus point if you have experience working with CI/CD or automation tools
• Bonus point if you have knowledge in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Bonus point if you have knowledge in Zendesk/Freshservice ticketing system
