Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated

Software Engineer

with strong experience in

Laravel

and the ability to configure and maintain

Linux environments

(Ubuntu and Red Hat). You will be part of our dynamic development team, building and maintaining high-quality web applications while ensuring optimal server performance and security.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using

Laravel

. Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver robust solutions. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot

Linux servers

(Ubuntu & Red Hat). Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications in production environments. Implement security best practices for both application and server layers. Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and processes. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.

Requirements

Proven experience with

Laravel framework

(minimum 2-3 years preferred). Strong understanding of

PHP

,

MySQL/MariaDB

, and RESTful APIs. Proficient in

Linux server administration

(Ubuntu & Red Hat). Experience with Nginx/Apache configuration, SSL setup, and system security hardening. Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Added Advantage

Certifications

related to PHP, Laravel, AWS, Linux Administration, or DevOps. Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes). Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience in performance optimization and application scaling.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
