• You will contribute to the design and enhancement of our advanced mobile applications, ensuring robustness, performance, and a great user experience across all of Grab\'s diverse product range.
• You will write reusable, scalable, and testable code, ensuring products are delivered on time and with high quality. Your focus here is on the scalability and performance of our services.
• You will participate in the maintenance of existing mobile applications, including bug fixing and performance enhancements. Your collaborative efforts with other engineering teams will help us build scalable back-end services that support our diverse range of products.
• When issues arise, you will conduct root cause analysis investigations to identify and rectify them. Your problem-solving skills and commitment to maintaining high application uptime will be crucial.
• You will develop large-scale systems, ensuring that our systems are always performing at their best, providing a seamless experience for our users.
• You will participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team. Your efforts will ensure that our software is always running smoothly, providing a reliable service to our users.
• You will work closely with the product and design teams to understand requirements, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• You will participate in agile development and project management processes, including planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and tasks estimations, prioritization, and coordination with team members, to ensure timely delivery of projects.

QualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need

• Specifically, we\'re looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in mobile application development, with a portfolio of projects in Flutter or Android (Kotlin/Java).
• You are familiar with the full mobile development life cycle and programming paradigms such as OOP, TDD, reactive programming and dependency injection.
• You will understand mobile app UI/UX principles, RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Nice to have: experience in Android/iOS native mobile development, Web (React) development.
