In Grab, purpose gives us joy and habits build excellence, while harnessing the power of Technology and AI to deliver the mission of driving Southeast Asia forward by economically empowering everyone, with heart, hunger, honour, and humility.Get to Know the TeamThe Mobility Horizontal team is an established engineering team responsible for building features or improvements related to the core experience of Transportation service in the Grab passenger app. We deliver the most ideal experience to the millions of consumers across SEA using Grab Transportation service every day.Get to Know the RoleYou will report to the Software Engineering Manager, Transport and you will work on the iOS passenger app that is used by millions of consumers every day. As a key member of our mobile development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.This role is onsite based in our Petaling Jaya, Malaysia office.The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient iOS applications using Swift and the latest iOS technologies
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• You will ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• You will identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• You will help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• You will participate in code reviews and help improve our development processes
• You will stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends, technologies, and best practices
• You will work on integrating various APIs and third-party libraries
• You will contribute to the entire app lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, release, and support

QualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• You have at least a minimum of 2 years of professional iOS development experience
• You have strong proficiency in Swift, iOS SDK, and frameworks (e.g., Core Data, Core Animation)
• You have experience with RESTful APIs, version control systems (preferably Git), and CI/CD processes
• You have knowledge of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines
• You have excellent understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• You have experience with OOP, and architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM or VIPER)
