This Software Engineer role sits within the Delivery and Customer Enablement Group (DCE) whose stated purpose is to ensure Openet\'s customers\' current and future success by delivering and enabling innovative, customer-centric software solutions. Within Product development, the SSE is key to our ability to deliver state-of-the-art cloud-native solutions, which support our customer\'s successful transition to the world of 5G connectivity.

What will your job look like?

You will join a team that is leveraging latest technologies to provide real-time processing of data streamed from 5G core networks and insights to customer behavior. These solutions are delivered with a high level of focus on CI/CD, containerization technologies and a DevOps mindset.

We are keen to bring into our team an experienced engineer/developer/tester who has a desire to solve complex problems has a deep understanding of their technology to the point where they can drive change in it, enjoys working in a team, has the capability to technically lead and mentor others in the team and is eager to take on new problems and share solutions as we push forward with our innovative offerings. Work independently as well as collaboratively, it is so important to have a \xe2\x80\x98can-do\xe2\x80\x99 approach to teamwork. You will have chance to explore in Test Automation.

All you need is...

The ideal person for our team will:

• Be an experienced developer or tester committed to delivering excellent work with excellent people.
• Have a relevant Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent degree and have a curiosity to learn more.
• Have the aptitude to learn to troubleshoot complex asynchronous parallel flows.
• Expertise of writing unit, integration, systems and performance tests.
• For developer, demonstrable knowledge of design patterns associated with a microservices architecture is crucial.

We would love it if you had knowledge/expertise with the following...

• Familiarity with Linux, comfortable accomplishing basic to moderate tasks from a Linux command line
• For developer

• You have hands-on knowledge in Java.
• Ability to design and implement a complex module with minimal supervision
• Demonstrable knowledge of design patterns associated with a microservices architecture.
• Ability to quickly integrate open source libraries to our solutions.
• Added advantage if you were familiar on the following:

• Cloud native environment
• Building DevOps pipelines
• Incorporating Kubernetes and the multitude of deployment pipeline tooling that supports it (Jenkins, Spinnaker, Helm, Harbor, Nexus Sonatype etc,)
