Job Description

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

s:

• Development of system-to-system integration via API, messaging, and similar technologies.
• Backend system integration, including the use of API and messaging technologies.
• Application, database schema, and integration design
• Assist the development team with the creation of integration and security tests. And, if necessary, create test drivers/simulators or stubs.
• Java and Javascript software development.
• Use DevOps tools allocated to SAST and DAST.
• Collaborate with the project team on system rollout and hardening.
• Work on allocated tasks to enhance the quality of the output created.
• Assist PO/BA in refining user stories.
• Grooming tasks in the backlog and assisting business analysts with user story refinement
• Collaborate with the project team to put DevSecOps on build and release automation.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, with the majority having completed one project life cycle
• Quick learner with a proactive approach and a keen eye for quality work
• A team player \xe2\x80\x93 an inclusive mentality that allows for efficient collaboration in a varied team
• Previous experience developing and deploying microservices on Azure
• Knowledge of backend system design and development.
• Development experience with Node.js, RESTful API/JSON, communications (AMQP, Kafka, MQTT, and similar technologies), and database schema design with major databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL/MSSQL/Oracle.
• Capable of expressing design using UML notation and generating a work backlog in SCRUM.
• Additional points as an extra benefit include:

• Understanding and knowledge of IT security
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as BitBucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, and Fortify.
• OPC or BacNet integration expertise or experience
• Understanding of or expertise with the Scrum project management methodology
