Job Description

Seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer proficient in Python & Java to take on a client-facing role in the industrial / manufacturing industry. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative technology solutions, integrate systems, and enhance manufacturing processes, while also providing chances to develop both technical skills and soft skills through client interactions and training.

• Design, document, develop, and deliver software products, with specific duties assigned by the Team Lead
• Developing software modules and performing unit tests
• Integrate software components into warehouse systems
• Support software commissioning phases on-site, ensure integration and acceptance testing are completed
• Create Functional and Interface Specifications
• Prepare Site Test Specifications and Reports
• Participate in various reviews, including document, design, functionality, and code reviews
• Provide customer support assistance to the Service Group as needed
• Offer product expertise to Integrated Systems and IT to support the sales process
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes
• Deliver training to customers and key users on installed applications

• A Bachelor's degree in Software or Computer Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in Python/Java programming
• 3 years of experience developing software in a related application domain or a domain with similar challenges to IT development
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and MSSQL
• Passionate about software development and innovation
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
