We are looking for a

hands-on and adaptable Software Engineer

to help build, maintain, and scale secure healthcare systems. You will play a key role in developing backend services, supporting cloud infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability for platforms used by patients, doctors, and clinics.

This role is ideal for an engineer with

2-3 years of experience

who enjoys both coding and operational problem-solving, and is ready to make a real impact in a fast-growing health-tech environment.

This is a

hybrid software engineering role

combining:

Backend / full-stack development Cloud infrastructure & DevOps System reliability, security, and scalability
You will be involved throughout the

full software lifecycle

, from development and deployment to monitoring and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

Develop and maintain backend or full-stack applications Build APIs, microservices, and internal tools Implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

DevOps & System Operations

Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP / Tencent) Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting Ensure system performance, stability, and availability

Security & Reliability

Apply secure coding practices and data protection standards Manage access control, backups, and disaster recovery Support systems handling sensitive healthcare data

Documentation & Support

Document system architecture and operational processes Support internal systems (e.g. onboarding, KYC) when required

Requirements

2-3 years

of experience in software development Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent experience Experience with

Node.js / Python / Java

Experience with

databases

(MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Familiar with

cloud platforms, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines

Basic understanding of system design, performance, and security Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

Experience with healthcare or regulated systems Kubernetes, Terraform, or Infrastructure-as-Code Frontend frameworks (React / Vue) Monitoring or observability tools Interest in

AI, automation, or data-driven systems

Salary & Benefits

RM4,500 - RM6,000
