Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software applications;
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code based on best practices;
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment;
Assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues across various software applications;
Contribute to the design and architecture of new features;
Write unit tests and conduct peer code reviews to ensure high-quality software;
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies; and
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and performance.
Job requirements:
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field;
Have sound understanding of core programming concepts, data structures and algorithms;
Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript or similar;
Exposure to web development technologies such as HTML and CSS is an advantage;
Possess basic understanding of databases such as SQL with the ability to write basic queries;
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git;
Have strong analytical, organisational, creative thinking and problem-solving skills;
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; and
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
