Position Title: Test Automation Engineer Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (On-site) Role Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop automation test script for software applications and systems \xe2\x80\xa2 Reduce the turnaround time in executing and testing a software application \xe2\x80\xa2 Automation script must be handy enough to be executed in any environment and supported platform \xe2\x80\xa2 Automation must cover all the scenarios (positive, negative, exception, error etc.) \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure automation tests are version controlled through proper tool like GITHub \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure to complete all automation tasks as per project/lead/tribe master \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure to setup and install the desired software, devices etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with Tribe master on project delivery wherever required \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct test automation and generate automated reports and communicate reports periodically to all Stake Holders \xe2\x80\xa2 Involvement in the planning, monitoring, control and maintenance of the automation testing activities and tasks \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain a good speed of automation on a daily basis as per demand \xe2\x80\xa2 Should be able to learn any new a automation tool with minimal guidance \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop test strategy and test plans for projects - Defining the scope of testing within the context of every release and every software testing level or cycle. \xe2\x80\xa2 Applying the appropriate test measurement and metrics for the software product and testing team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and resolve the project risks related to automation testing \xe2\x80\xa2 Based on understanding of the Business requirement, ensure Test Data is prepared and available before commencing testing and maintain test data \xe2\x80\xa2 Take ownership of coordinating with respective teams to ensure SIT environment is up and ready before testing commences \xe2\x80\xa2 Be able to provide man days efforts for test automation \xe2\x80\xa2 Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products through automation testing. \xe2\x80\xa2 Use Risk Based Testing techniques to develop, maintain, and execute testing. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with the Development team for defect until closure. Required Experience: \xe2\x80\xa2 At least Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science or other relevant studies \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 2 years experiences in automation testing with either one of the tool (Selenium, Katalon Studio, Appium) \xe2\x80\xa2 Solid experience in designing, developing and enhancing automation script for new and existing applications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in using Jira to report the defects \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in tools such as Cucumber and Jenkins will be added advantages \xe2\x80\xa2 Willing to learn and compare new automation testing tools \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong domain knowledge either in Banking/Payment/Insurance/Wealth/Customer enrollment \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong working knowledge of SDLC and STLC practices and procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Decision Making & Risk Awareness \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsibility & Result Orientation \xe2\x80\xa2 Good Communication, teamwork, leadership & reporting skill
