Software Test Engineer
Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer Key Responsibilities: Assists in collecting test requirements and creating basic test plans and test cases. Follows risk management plans and executes test automation scripts. Works assigned test engineering tasks according to project plans including schedule, budget and component cost targets. Documents text execution progress and issues. Works assigned tasks while exercising basic knowledge of engineering technology and basic skills with engineering tools. Follows test engineering standard processes and procedures. Essential Requirements: Typically requires a minimum 2+ years of related experience in a professional role; or equivalent experience. Basic understanding of computer hardware and software system architecture. Basic understanding of hardware and software interactions, and able to apply this understanding to resolve issues. Able to easily achieve mastery of new tools, languages and operating systems. Proficient in reading and understanding technical data sheets.
