Department Overview TETRA Device System Test



Design and create both manual and automated test scripts to validate and verify system requirements and communication devices firmware for mission critical markets in the public safety, commercial and industrial segments.

Execution of the Software Testing flawlessly and effectively

Performing Test Planning/Analysis as part of the test execution task to continuously improve in test effectiveness and test efficiency.

Coordinate and participate in test idea design and script review

Analysing, identifying and submitting issues.

Perform troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.

Generating the required Test Reports in a concise and structured manner

Self grooming on the devices features and customer user case of the LMR radios for effectiveness of daily task execution

Basic Requirements

- Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunications /

Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

- Preferably with at least 3 years - 5 years relevant working experience or equivalent.

- Able to write and test code using Java, XML, Python, or similar programming languages.

- Able to troubleshoot and creatively resolve execution failures.

- Experience with test case management tool (ALM/Testrail)

- Good foundation knowledge of C, C++, and C# design will be an added advantage.

- Experience in Android testing is a plus.

- Knowledge of GPS, 3G, 4G and WiFi technology is a plus.

- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Ability to work and communicate well across different design centers

- Candidates must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
