Software developers who design and write programs that run the tests on new or existing software - an essential part of the software development cycle. Software tester you will be responsible for conducting manual testing on newly developed mobile applications. You will work closely with research and development professionals and be responsible for testing various aspects of mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

Understanding User Requirements for preparation of Test Scripts/Cases. Conduct API Testing. Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases and scenarios to validate API functionality, performance, and security in software applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies for API testing. Identify test scenarios and define test cases to cover all aspects of API functionality. Test commercial applications across multiple platforms adhering to a standard checklist. Test results triage for proper defect categorization. Document results of testing and report any defects in a clear and comprehensive manner. Communicate and follow up any defects with the developer of the mobile application. Actively investigate interesting new tools and techniques Manage and coordinate testing activities with 3rd party testers and clients.
Prerequisites

B.E. /B.Tech. /M.C.A. / or equivalent. At least 4 years of relevant experience in Application and Manual Software Testing. In-depth understanding of API testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices Experience in API Postman. Exposure to testing cycles in an Agile development approach will be an added advantage. Should understand all levels of Software and Mobile Development Life Cycle (includes experience in SIT, UAT, Performance testing, Load testing, Penetration testing and Regression testing). Familiar with Lifecycle Management tools and applications(TRAC, HP ALM, etc..) for managing test cycles. Ability to effectively interact with Manager, Team Leader, and fellow team members. Proactive, great attention to detail, results-oriented problem solver, critical thinker, and ability to meet aggressive deadlines. Passion for testing applications and finding bugs. High proficiency using automated test tools to conduct QA testing Excellent oral & writing communication skills.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
