Purpose of the job \xc2\xb7 Software Development Engineer (DevSecOps) transform requirements into software according to design, to maximize business value and customer satisfaction. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for developing and executing a Development Operations (DevSecOps) strategy to ensure quality software and infrastructure deployments and overall application health, security and performance. Main responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Defines and implements architectures CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) process tailored for the team\xe2\x80\x99s environment, \xc2\xb7 Develops infrastructure to incorporate latest technology best practices, and improve operational performance, quality taking into account security and service health, \xc2\xb7 Improves development, deployment and testing to make it as much automated as possible, \xc2\xb7 Supports teams by sharing knowledge and best practices (including clear documents for complex integration procedures). \xc2\xb7 Participate in the software architecture (specification analysis, technical studies, technology assessment, etc.), \xc2\xb7 Design and code autonomously complex functions and full modules, within agreed quality, deadline and cost \xc2\xb7 Uses programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write software code that meet requirements and that optimize software performance \xc2\xb7 Responsible for implementation and unit test for sub-system or interfaces, and ensure code quality; \xc2\xb7 Supports software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements, \xc2\xb7 Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing code comments, layouts, diagrams and charts \xc2\xb7 Will be assigned to work on product development and delivery of projects \xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned Experience & background \xc2\xb7 At least 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in object-oriented and agile software development. \xc2\xb7 Experience in writing Design Documentation, Object-Oriented Software Design. \xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Education \xc2\xb7 Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering / Computer Science or a relevant discipline Technical skills \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of scripting and programming language (Java, Javascript, Bash, Python, etc.), \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of configuration management tools and languages (Terraform, Ansible, GIT, etc.), \xc2\xb7 Good understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture, \xc2\xb7 Basic database knowledge and best practices, \xc2\xb7 Security awareness, \xc2\xb7 GNU/Linux networking knowledge, \xc2\xb7 Containerization and orchestration knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.), \xc2\xb7 Cloud knowledge (Private and Public), \xc2\xb7 Knowledge on DevSecOps process and different tools (Jira, Testlink, GIT, etc.), \xc2\xb7 CI/CD tools and platforms knowledge (Jenkins, CI/CD as a service, etc.), \xc2\xb7 Ideally candidate should be familiar with open source technologies like Kubernetes, kafka, Drools, Elasticstack etc \xc2\xb7 Experience in Linux and Windows environment and scripting will be an added advantage \xc2\xb7 Hands-on different development, automation, build and test environments (VScode, Jenkins, etc.), \xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of software lifecycle (agile, waterfall, etc.), Competencies / soft skills \xc2\xb7 English fluent in both oral and written; \xc2\xb7 Self-motivated, independent and a good team player \xc2\xb7 Able to work under pressure \xc2\xb7 Innovative mindset and think-out-of-the-box \xc2\xb7 Constructive collaboration, Analytical skills, Problem Solving skills, Curiosity.
