Solution Architect (Java)

Job Responsibilities

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of complex IT systems and software applications that meet business objectives. This role involves analyzing business requirements, creating high-level architecture designs, ensuring technical alignment with organizational goals, managing technical risks, and guiding development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Results Areas

1) Architecture Governance & Solution Design

Design and enhance software systems for high performance and scalability. Continuously research emerging technologies and third-party tools; evaluate and propose best-fit solutions for business challenges. Clearly communicate the software architecture and design to stakeholders including business owners, analysts, project managers, and developers. Understand business models, processes, services, and application architectures; improve them and create reusable frameworks and prototypes.

2) Project Management

Supervise technical teams, provide constructive guidance, and resolve technical issues. Establish and manage collaboration frameworks and tools. Proactively manage risks and oversee product delivery. Evaluate the business impact of technical decisions and recommend appropriate trade-offs. Define features, solution requirements, development phases, budgets, and timelines. Make critical decisions under pressure while meeting deadlines and resource constraints.

RequirementsQualification

Local Malaysian Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience

Minimum of 8 years' proven experience in: Engineering and software architecture design IT architecture, infrastructure, microservices, cloud solutions, and high-volume transaction systems

Skills

Strong expertise in: Java, Kotlin, C# Spring Framework Relational and NoSQL databases, distributed in-memory caching Cloud architecture and DevOps practices Operating systems and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Git)

Pay: Up to RM23,000.00 per month
