Role Background

The Senior Technology Consultant provides technology leadership to FICO project teams during implementation. Take charge of the technical team and drive the technical effort during implementation. Provide best practice consultations to the client teams to maximise the benefits of using FICO software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall architecture and design of the technical solution.
• Lead the engagement, co-ordinating all technical effort with more junior and offshore technical team members.
• Facilitate design workshops for a wide range of projects that involve FICO Platform and on-premise products mainly Blaze Advisor.
• Produce high quality architecture and design deliverables, and facilitate client sign-offs on these deliverables.
• Delivering best practices usage consultancy on FICO platform and FICO on-premise products.
• Balance multiple large projects simultaneously. Easily switch from one agenda to another.
• Produce effort estimates for existing clients or prospects.
• Participating in quality assurance test planning, system design sessions, implementation planning, and other phases of software development lifecycle as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead in a client facing role.
• Be client facing - able to present technical information and concepts to non-technical people.
• Experience in team management. Successfully engaged on projects from Inception through completion.
• Detailed knowledge of software architecture principles and methodologies.
• Demonstrated exposure to SOA, cloud deployments and technology, Java, JEE, SQL, High Availability, internet technologies, REST, AWS and cloud native technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to solve technical challenges.
• Strong industry experience in one or more industry area, including Banking & Financial Services and Insurance.
• Knowledge of Business Rule Management Systems (BRMS) with at least one commercial product, preferably FICO Blaze Advisor.
• Excellent technical writing and business communications skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet critical time-sensitive objectives, emphasis on planning skills.
• Excellent team participant.
• Ability to co-ordinate a small to medium sized (2 to 8 members) technical team.
