Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Java Developer to join our team. The Junior Java Developer will be responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications using Java programming language. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of quality software solutions.

This is an entry-level position that offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development. The successful candidate will receive training, mentorship and support to help them develop their skills and advance their career as a Java Developer.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and test software solutions using Java.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets the company\'s coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure that code meets the required standards and is free from bugs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot software defects to identify the root cause and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that software is thoroughly tested and meets the required standards.
• Participate in Agile software development practices including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint retrospectives.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of Java programming language and concepts.
• Experience with Java development frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and ability to write efficient SQL queries.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with web-based technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD) practices.
