Sourcing Engineer
Job Description
Develop and execute commodity strategy aligned with business objectives
Monitor market trends, material pricing, and supply risks
Identify alternate suppliers and dual-sourcing opportunities
Lead RFQ/RFP processes, cost analysis, and supplier negotiations
Drive cost reduction, VA/VE initiatives, and productivity improvements
Direct costing and manage quotation request with appropriate suppliers to ensure ACM obtains industry competitive component pricing within the requested time frame.
Follow up for fist article sample delivery to ensure suppliers delivery the sample on time
Perform any other task assigned by superior
Job Requirement
Degree/Diploma in mechanical/ electrical/ electronic or any other related discipline
Min 3 years and above working in similar field.
Hardworking, independent and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Analytical mindset with
problem-solving
abilities. Project management skills to handle multiple sourcing projects. Ability to work cross-functionally withengineering, quality, and production teams
.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,800.00 per month
