Cost Management:

Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and sourcing strategies that deliver measurable financial impact while maintaining quality and supply continuity. Lead supplier negotiations to achieve optimal pricing, payment terms, and total cost of ownership. Conduct regular spending analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process efficiency, and supplier consolidation.

Sourcing Strategy Development:

Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with PerkinElmer's business objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and supplier performance.

Supplier Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to drive collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Negotiation and Contract Management:

Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and agreements. Manage contracts effectively to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

Market Research and Analysis:

Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements. Conduct regular analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with various departments, including but not limited to R&D, Operations, and Finance, to understand their sourcing needs and align strategies accordingly.

Supplier Diversity and Sustainability:

Drive initiatives to enhance supplier diversity and sustainability, aligning with PerkinElmer's commitment to corporate responsibility.

Risk Management:

Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing disruptions.
