We are looking for an active Sourcing Specialist to coordinate parts and components for our newly established factory in Seremban for underground loading & hauling equipment.

Do we share the same mission?

• Responsible for parts and components (electrical & mechanical) sourcing in different categories from global and regional suppliers
• Networking with the existing suppliers and Sandvik internal stakeholders to source the parts and components

• Participating supplier performance process in cooperation with Quality, Purchasing and Division Sourcing teams
• Monitoring and developing the performance and quality of suppliers
• Working with time-sensitive sourcing actions in collaboration with the division sourcing team

Your background and what we find important

• Suitable technical or commercial education
• At least two years of experience in Sourcing or Purchasing field in manufacturing environment
• Familiar with sourcing/buying of parts and components
• Some expertise of supply base in the region
• Used to work with Microsoft Office
• Good at problem-solving and have the desire to develop the supplier network and able to complete challenging things
• Excellent communication, networking, and teamwork skills
• Ability to make the fact-based decisions quickly
• As we work in an international setting good spoken and written English is required
