Minimum Qualification: Diploma/Certificate in culinary /ACF Certified Culinarian / Sous Chef, food and beverage, or related professional field.
Minimum 5-10 years experience in catering, food services, restaurants and hospitality.
Fluent Mandarin (Required)
English proficiency
Strong communication skills
Prior customer service experience preferred
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise kitchen staff how to prepare and bake food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards according to baking food prep checklists.
Ensure kitchen staff use baking and measuring tools, equipment and appliances to prepare baked foods.
Monitor kitchen staff complies with food safety handling policies and procedures; personal hygiene procedures.
Monitor quality of food prepared and portions properly served throughout shifts.
Supervise kitchen staff to maintain purchasing, receiving and food storage standards all the time.
Strong adherence of standard operating procedures for food waste controls by proper handling of all food products in the right temperature.
Actively train kitchen staffs on the fundamentals baking techniques and excellent plating presentations.
Review staff performance at all levels on operational needs and ensure financial objectives met.
Effective communication with staff on their expected performance with their job description for their specific function.
