Job Responsibilities

Deliver clear, accurate, and engaging presentations on Malaysian tax and finance topics, including monthly tax updates, real property gains tax (RPGT), corporate tax, transfer pricing, and SST. Conduct webinars, seminars, and training sessions tailored to professionals, businesses, and the public. Participate in panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and other thought-leadership engagements. Develop high-quality presentation materials, case studies, and supporting content that meet the objectives of each event. Stay up to date with Malaysian tax regulations, policies, and industry developments to ensure content is current and relevant. Collaborate with internal teams (Tax Experts, Event and Marketing teams) to design event topics and address audience needs. Provide practical insights and examples to simplify complex tax concepts for diverse audiences. Support the promotion of events by contributing professional content (e.g. articles, social media posts, or short videos) when required. Represent YYC taxPOD professionally as a subject matter expert, maintaining a positive and credible image. Gather feedback from participants to continuously improve session delivery and content effectiveness.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. Professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CTIM) is an added advantage. Minimum 3 years of experience in tax compliance, finance, advisory, training, or public speaking. Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex tax concepts. Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Confident, engaging, and passionate about knowledge-sharing with professional and business audiences.
