Specialist Finance Controller (mandarin Speaker)

Job Description


This role is responsible for developing and providing overall support in the preparation of financial statements, budgets and forecasts, management of Fixed Asset & Inventory in accordance with legal and statutory requirements functions region.

  • Thoroughly review, understand and explain variances to both plan (standard cost), plan year and prior year in accordance with established thresholds
  • Maintain Fixed Asset register, monthly reporting relating to Fixed Assets management
  • Maintain Inventory, monthly reporting relating to Inventory management
  • Recommend improvement ideas to reduce cost, improve working capital, reduce obsolescence, waste etc
  • Interpret complex financial data and related operational activities
  • Review operating results before closing to minimise errors
  • Prepare presentations for performance management, track and ensure ownership of action
items and follow up as necessary * Fulfil all reporting requirements and meet reporting deadlines
  • Perform deep dive product cost evaluation and analysis
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly and annual forecasts as needed
  • Prepare and maintain standard costs including related cost centre planning/ activities
  • Lead together with OPS for the Yearly Capex Plan and Quarterly Capex Forecast (GIF)
  • Perform complex analysis, modelling, and other tool creation to enhance planning and
reporting processes * Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit

Full spectrum as Finance controller|Attractive remuneration package
  • Manufacture background is a must
  • SAP experience is a must
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Professional accountancy certification desired (e.g. ACCA/CIMA/ CPA)
  • Good command of both oral and written local language Chinese and English are required
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be team player, leadership skills
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Good IT skills with computer spreadsheets, software and automated accounting systems
  • Ability to solve urgent matters and work under pressure
